Rules for All Participants
- No copying or stealing content. Do not copy, scrape, download, or republish content from this site (including our pages, safety packets, course materials, blog posts, or other members’ posts) for use on other sites, in other products, or for commercial use without prior written permission from Mile 12 Warrior LLC. Our content is protected by copyright.
- No spam. Do not post unsolicited ads, repetitive messages, off-topic promotion, or commercial solicitations. Occasional, relevant recommendations may be acceptable when they clearly help the community; blatant or repeated spam will be removed and may result in account action.
- No suspicious links or entries. Do not post links to phishing sites, malware, or untrusted or unknown URLs. We may remove or disable links to protect the community from hacks, scams, and security risks. When sharing a resource, use clear, legitimate sources (e.g., official .gov or well-known organizations).
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or personal attacks. Disagreement is fine; keep it civil and professional.
- Follow our Terms of Service and Disclaimer. All forum use is subject to our Terms of Service and Disclaimer, including rules on user content, copyright, and prohibited conduct.
Rules to Join & Participate
- Create an account to post. You must be signed in to start a thread or reply. If you don’t have an account, register here.
- Choose a username. When you register, you create a username. You may use a display name you’re comfortable with — for example, your email, your first name, a nickname, or your CB handle. Many drivers use their handle so the forum feels like the old CB days: friendly and recognizable.
- Keep it appropriate. Usernames must not be offensive, impersonate another person, or violate our Terms. We reserve the right to remove or change usernames that don’t meet these standards.
- One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts or use shared or fake accounts. Use one account for your participation.
- By posting, you agree. Posting in the forum means you agree to these Forum Rules and our Terms of Service, including our policies on user content and copyright.
Violations may result in removal of content, warning, or suspension/termination of your account. We want a safe, welcoming space for professional drivers — help us keep it that way.
Trucker Lingo
The language of the road is part of trucking culture. From the CB radio era to today, terms and phrases help drivers communicate quickly and build community. Below are some commonly used terms. We encourage you to learn them, use them, and even bring back the CB where it makes sense — to make trucking more lively and to strengthen the community.
Add Your Lingo
Have a term or phrase you use on the road that isn’t listed? We’d love to grow this list. Send us your commonly used trucker lingo (and a short meaning if you like) via our Contact page. We’ll review submissions and may add them here so others can learn and use them.
Let’s keep the language of the road alive — and maybe bring back the CB for a more connected, lively, and embracing trucking community. 10-4?
